Small Capacity LNG Plants

General Description

1.After the purification treatment (CO2, sulfide, heavy hydrocarbon and water desorption), and copious cooling to -162℃ under the ordinary pressure, the natural gas will turn to liquid state, which is called liquefied natural gas. In the same quality, the volume of LNG is 1/620 of the natural gas, and the weight is about 45% of the water.
2.Before liquefaction, the natural gas should be purified to remove moisture, carbon dioxide, sulphureted hydrogen, mercury, heavy hydrocarbon and benzene etc. to prevent these materials from clogging the heal-exchanger, pipelines or valves.
