General Description

1. If the gas is not dry, it may result in moisture freezing in compressor discharger or dispensers. In extreme situations, liquid water may enter into the high pressure stage, which may cause serious damages.
2. Natural gas dryers concentrate mainly on removing the water vapor instead of storing or using natural gas for vehicle fuel. High water content can cause blockage of CNG in fueling system and corrosion of storage vessels and piping.
3. The need for a dryer is determined by the water content of the incoming gas and the minimum ambient temperature. Therefore, a dryer may be needed in a cooler climate by using standard pipeline natural gas, it may also be needed in a warmer climate.
4. Tingda Machinery typically provides two kinds of gas dryers, one is the low pressure gryer in the forepart of the compressor process, the other is high pressure dryer in the end part. Gas dryer adopts molecular sieve absorbent desiccants to remove water vapor to an extremely low level. After operating for a period of time, the dryer has removed so much water that it requires regeneration or replacement of the desiccant. The dry also need a hygrometer to ensure the gas has been sufficiently dried.
5. Twin-tower, Semi-automatic or Fully Automatic, Water or Air Cooler, Regenerating Dryers: with two drying vessels, while one vessel is removing water from the lower pressure natural gas, the other is regenerating. The two vessels are automatically switched so that the drying process is continuous.

Applied Range

1. It is available to large, medium and small size of CNG station’s dehydration.
2.  It is available to bradenhead gas and coalbed methane’ dehydration.

Classification

1. Low Pressure Gas Dryer: It works at the forepart of the compressor process, which is utilized to ensure the dry gas is fed to the compressor inlet.
2. High Pressure Gas Dryer: It works at the end part of the compression process and its working pressure is 25Mpa.

Features:

1.  It is featured by twin-tower structure and switch of dehydration and regeneration, which ensures the balance of gas flow and stability of bed dust
2. It is typical of large packing of absorbent, long cycle length, continuous operation and water delivery. Besides, it is designed to purify and dry gas and its dew point is below -60℃.
3. By adopting circum-flow build-in furnace it realizes multiple protection. Besides, it is characterized by closed circulation and regeneration, long, balanced and high-efficiency heating, and compared with the congeneric products, it presents a small heat loss and saves 20% power energy.
4. The absorption and regeneration towers are covered by high-efficiency insulating layer, which produces an excellent preventive effect.
5. It adopts the most advanced PLC control system to realize the temperature control, start and stop, regeneration, pressure reinforce and decompression of the heater, circulating and cooling fan.
6. The filter is applied to remove the liquid water, oil and dust efficiently.
7. The dehydration parameters may be designed to comply to customers’ requirement.
